    Summary

    Preface

Our world is changing. We now have the technology to feed everyone in the world, yet we have starvation. We have an unbelievable ability to connect around the world but still have ignorance and lack of understanding. We often can’t connect with each other. We have incredible possibilities for healthcare yet sickness everywhere. What is missing here?

People need to understand health in a whole new way and their personal responsibility. There are people working on that aspect. Most of the young people are eliminating the over processed foods that have polluted our bodies in the last 40 years and young people care about their health. But they don’t have all the tools they need to deal with the body’s health and their emotions.

What you eat is what you are and also what you think is what you are. This book is about a new kind of thinking to understand the impact that thinking has on the body, The Bio-Chemical Model explains the mind body connection and how to fix it.

    Foreword

I was born in 1942. In my mother’s generation people were taught not to feel or think. My parents didn’t talk much or feel anything. Feelings were not acknowledged and most people were not allowed to express feelings because most feelings were bad. The world began to change in my generation and future generations. I didn’t talk to my first set of kids born in the 60s but the next set born in the 80s got a whole lot more conversation.

In the subsequent generations, not only did the digital world happen, feelings were acknowledged and encouraged. This is good and bad. It is good because people could finally express themselves. Suppressing feelings just leaves one in the world of numb. The old system of thinking don’t think and follow the rules, suck it up, and don’t change kept emotions pent up that hurt the body. The philosophy then was that you knew the worst and any change might make things even worse – so leave it alone. Life was hard. However, like it or not, change started happening. The ability to feel and encourage feelings has its down side though. People were not equipped to handle the feelings and psychology didn’t have the answers. People didn’t know how to communicate. People bonded on pain and desperation so that was reflected in their communication. Negative communication is drama. Emotional drama is draining.

The most recent generation has been a permissive soft generation and full of drama. There is no self-responsibility for feelings. Now that people feel free to talk about the negatives in their lives, it is hard to be around them. Sharing drama and pain is not good communication. Blaming others is not helpful and people need a map to find their way out of this. Hopefully this book will help along with the other part of this series.

The digital world and communication has changed so much that we have to remake our minds to keep up. We are in the process of changing to a whole new world system of thinking and living. This is a world of constant change so expect it. You will be much more successful if you embrace change. There are two systems happening at the same time now and it is important to understand the difference between old thinking and new thinking to understand the world at this time.

The Good Old Boy system is the X, Negative, or Authoritative System. A new system that we call the Positive, Synergistic, or Y system has nothing to do with being male or female. It has to do with a new way of thinking that is collaborative, positive, and growth minded (insert link to X vs. Y System) along with a new underlying philosophy (Insert link to Positive Philosophy here). The generations between the 60s and the present have been a world of flux and confusion. We have been living between these worlds of change for quite some time. I am attempting to make sense of this change to create clarity in my series of books.

Most people have no idea of how feelings affect the body and health. They have no idea that there are two thinking models (the X System vs. the Y system) where only one will bring happiness and abundance. They are not aware of an underlying philosophy that creates our way of life. We are in the middle of transitioning these models into a completely different world. Moving from the old world to a new world is difficult when you don’t have a map. I am trying to provide this map so people can be healthy and happy.

In this book we will introduce the Bio-Chemical Model and why this is important. You will learn how emotions or feelings are bio-chemical reactions and how this happens in the body and what part of the brain is involved. We will discuss how to get to the body through the mind and how some of the mind body techniques work as well as give you a couple of techniques and tools you can start using. We tell you how this information was collected and who discovered it. You will learn how beliefs influence the body and there is an actual dialogue that demonstrates a few techniques.
