‘NOT YET’
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. As you flip through these pages you are clearly going to enter a hidden portal toward the back of your mind. In order to see this portal they call ‘SKYZONE’, you have to close your eyes and clear your mind for ten seconds. After you open your eyes you will realize that this creative world was always there. There is a crystal blue waterfall. If your mind can picture this waterfall and walk through it, behind it lies the portal. You will never be the same.
Now look in the mirror. Look deep into your eyes way beyond the core of your soul. What are the challenges that you face? Are you always running late for work? Do you not get along with a family member? Do you not like the person that you see? Are you impatient? There are 12 chapters of inspired motivation and I want you to get lost into each chapter. Even if it’s just one sentence in each chapter that you can relate to today, that’s all you need to find within yourself something that you’ve never found before.
Now picture as you walk into the crystal blue waterfall and enter the hidden portal a huge grassy field appears on the other side. It’s a gigantic circle and as you look ahead, there are 39 people just like you that entered other portals. Apparently ‘SKYZONE’ has 40 hidden portals to enter it. As you look into the middle of the field there is a person standing there. Your instinct along with the others was to walk toward her.
"Hi, my name is SKYLER, and welcome to the ‘COMPLAINER’S CIRCLE’. Here you get to vent about what’s bothering you most about life. Share it with each other and I will show you how to get to ‘RAINBOW ISLAND’."
One by one, you and the others voiced complaints. These were some of the 39 other complaints.
Hi, I’m Sarah, and I never have time for myself!
Hey, my name is Tom, and I don’t have a savings!
My name is Elaina, and my kid always wants to play!
I’m Rob. I work so hard and I get written up for lateness!
My name’s Max, and every couple of hours I have to walk the dog!
I’m Lisa, and my husband makes the house such a mess!
My name is Matt and I never go on vacation!
I’m John. I maxed out my credit cards!
My name is Adam. I’ve been unemployed and it seems impossible to get a job!
Hey, I’m Jeff. I’m retired and I don’t know what to do with myself!
I’m Michelle. I want to start my own company but no one will invest in me!
My name is Sandra. I never get to travel!
My name is Mario and my son won’t take over the family business!
I’m Danny and my spouse and I always argue!
I am Tim. I have my own company but I’m not organized!
My name is Bradford, and I have no visitation rights to see my kid!
Hey, I’m Larry. Someone I know is very rich. Why can’t I be that lucky!
I’m Felicia. I’m trying to tone up but I don’t have time to workout!
My name is Jaime. I want a dog but they don’t allow pets where I live!
After half the people made their complaints to ‘SKYLER’, she started writing things down as the rest of the people continued to vent. Something strange started to happen. The thunderous sound of a motorcycle approached us and headed straight toward ‘SKYLER’. As he handed her his helmet, ‘SKYLER’ began to speak.
"I appreciate you all for sharing your complaints with each other. So as promised I will point you in the direction of ‘RAINBOW ISLAND’. Walk through the newer portal over there and you’ll never have to worry about your complaints again."
The guy on the bike got off of it and gave it to ‘SKYLER’ and stood with the 40 of you.
"This is ‘SPYRO’. He will walk the 20 miles to your destination with you. I warn you, it’s muddy, there is little to no water, and it will feel like a journey. Good luck!"
She sped off down the muddy path leading to ‘RAINBOW ISLAND’.
I’m getting the hell out of here. I didn’t sign up for this!
one of the people said. However, the original waterfall was gone.
Panic started to stir up and the people started directing their anger toward ‘SPYRO’. Then ‘SPYRO’ started to speak.
Hey guys, calm down! Besides I’m the only way you are getting out of here. I’ve been here before and I’m only here to help.
After he spoke the people started to calm down.
"The sooner we start walking the faster you can get out of here. Besides, the water in front of ‘RAINBOW ISLAND’ is indescribable. It’s beautiful. The fountain over there is the purest water I’ve ever drank." ‘SPYRO’ said.
As they began their journey it felt like they’ve been walking a half a day. Someone asked SPYRO how many miles did we travel so far.
3 miles.
‘SPYRO’ answered.
3 miles! Are you kidding me?
said Max.
As they continued down
