About this ebook

Are you tired of stacking your home with books that keep telling you WHAT you should do but never explain HOW in a way that you can easily understand and apply it? then Believing is seeing was written for you. This book gives you all the tools you need, so you can create your own reality through visualising.

Visualising is a science – Not a magic trick

Of the thousands of people who have attempted to use visualising as a tool in the hope that they might attract all the things they want into their lives - most have come up empty handed. I know this doesn’t exactly sound like the most encouraging way to begin a book about the benefits of visualising, but unfortunately it’s the plain truth – and I only deal in the truth.

Fortunately, I also bring some positive news along with me. You see, the reason most of those people fell short was because they were trying something they only “hoped” would work. If you don’t have absolute faith that it’s possible for physical things to actually manifest themselves just by thinking about them, how can it happen? It all sounds way to “Alice in Wonderland” to most people when they’re being completely honest with themselves. Most of us have not been conditioned to accept this way of thinking and believing, and it’s a seriously tough paradigm to shift.

Make no mistake – I’m definitely not criticising anyone who falls into that category, because I was no different for a very long time. I could not understand what the hell I was doing wrong. I was sure I was reading the correct books. I watched dozens of videos, listened to hundreds of hours of amazing audio recordings, made by the leading gurus on this stuff – and still there was nothing positive coming from my visualising. Why the hell not?

If you’ve read my book “Avoiding the maze”, you’ll know that I quite often have a problem trusting something if I don’t know how it works. I usually need some sort of scientific evidence, and even when I find the evidence, I still sometimes conduct a few experiments of my own. It helps me make certain I’m on the right track. You see, life’s pretty short, and I don’t like wasting time on things that don’t work for me.

Yes, visualising awesome things, and then having them magically appear in my life, sounded like the best thing since Velcro to me, because I’m really lazy and I hate doing things the long way around. I imagined it would be so cool to make things manifest with my mind. However, so would making myself invisible, and walking through walls be really cool – but I don’t think I’ll find a way to do those things anytime soon.

But then something happened that gave me just enough evidence to get me interested again. A friend of my wife gave her a CD for me to watch. She’s told him in general conversation, what my general interests were, and that I was a little stuck in some areas. The CD was a film called “What the bleep”, and it absolutely blew my mind. I think I must have watched it about twenty times within one week, because it had given me the evidence I needed to make me think about getting back into visualising. This was my introduction to quantum physics, and it was really only the tip of the iceberg.

This little book is going to show you why I no longer have any doubt whatsoever that this weird and wonderful stuff really does work, and once you’ve completed it – you’ll also have no doubt. So I’m now going to ask you to open your mind, forget any negative crap you’ve ever heard or thought about the subject of visualising, and allow me to give you all the information and tools you’ll ever need to change your life, using this incredible science. Your conditioned paradigm of “Seeing is believing” will be forever changed, to one that serves you far better – “BELIEVING IS SEEING”.

My solemn promise to you is this: Read this book, practice what you learn from it– and watch the magic happen within just 30 days

As a Self-Help writer, blogger - my mission is to pass on what I've learned, and hope that you will use that knowledge to acieve what your goals in life. In order for that to happen, I need us to build a trusting relationship, and for that to be possible - you have to know who I am, and what I stand for. If you’ve read my book “Avoiding the maze”, you’ll know that I often have a problem trusting something if I don’t know HOW it works. I usually need some sort of scientific evidence, and even when I find evidence, I often conduct a few experiments of my own, just to make certain I’m on the right track. You see, life’s short, and I don’t like wasting time on things that don’t work for me. For more than thirty years, I searched for that illusive something which I thought would make me happy, and in turn make my life perfect. Throughout that time, I must have read at least two hundred books, and listened to more CD’s than I care to remember. Until about ten years ago, I felt as though I was lost in a maze of information. There just seemed to be too many theories that all sounded perfectly true to me on some level, while on the other side of the coin, a number of those same theories also tended to contradict each other in a number of areas. Furthermore, I found it difficult to understand why, with so many people reading all those books – finding just a handful of them who actually discovered what they were looking for, was like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. I just became so damn sick and tired of waiting for all the wonderful things I was told I could receive in my life by doing stuff like trusting in the Law of Attraction, practicing positive thinking, meditating, and dozens of other fantastic things that so many gurus write about in their best-selling works of art. I just wanted someone to tell me how, in simple, good old easy to comprehend, English. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. In-fact I became so tired of it, that I decided to make it my mission in life to find out HOW these things work, and then share the answers with you, so you don’t have to spend countless hours wondering through that huge maze of self-help information, the way I did. I hope I won’t let you down during this quest, and if at any stage you find me joining all the other writers who force you to consult a dictionary every second paragraph, just so you can understand what they’re saying – please do not hesitate to tell me. Introduction

Not too many years ago, I came across one particular article that had a specific focus on neuroplasticity. One of the examples given in this article was related to wine tasting. If you’ve ever sat drinking wine with someone who is a wine connoisseur, you may recall wondering how the hell she could smell all those tiny little aromas’ in the bouquet that you couldn’t. Or how she could taste the berries, chocolate, pepper, and whatever else was hanging around in the glass.

All you could taste however, was wine, and perhaps a hint of chocolate if your life was depending on it. If you’re anything like I used to be before gaining a better understanding of the science behind it, you probably thought she was just being pompous and pretentious.

Actually, some people really are just schmucks who feel the need to show you how smart they are, and when I come across those people, I usually just smile while I fantasize about watching them drown in a huge vat of cheap red wine. But anyway, that’s just me, and as I said, there are those who genuinely love the art of wine tasting, and use their knowledge for their own pleasure, while enjoying the opportunity to educate others on occasion. I like those people, don’t you?

I drink a glass of red wine every evening while eating my dinner, and it’s been one of my favourite evening rituals for many years. I recall, about twenty-five years ago – my brother in-law called me one evening and told me I need to watch the TV channel he was watching, because there’s a doctor who’s explaining why a glass of red wine every day is very good for your heart.

This doctor was obviously a genius sent by God to ensure that mankind flourished, and we all live a happy, content life on this planet. Well at least my brother in-law and I both thought so, and we became his two most loyal disciples, evangelising his message to anyone who would listen. Okay I’m just being full of shit now, but we definitely liked this doctor, and thought his message was fantastic.

It was only a few years later that I read an article by yet another, even smarter doctor, who advocated TWO glasses of red wine per day, and Doctor One Glass immediate fell out of favour with me. So far I have not come across the perfect doctor, because I just know he’ll have evidence showing that drinking three glasses is the ultimate health tip. I’m only kidding – two is probably just fine, and three may actually be a little problem I need to address at some stage.

Over the years I’ve developed a particular affinity to Shiraz, and can almost always distinguish between different types, like a full body Shiraz, or one that’s perhaps a little thin. However, I am still nowhere near being considered a connoisseur. I think I’m a bit boring when it comes to my wine drinking, because I haven’t done much experimenting at all. I found that I loved Shiraz, and
