Introduction
Drew Barrymore is a whirlwind talent. She went from being the adorable child star in E.T. to a drug-addicted troubled teen to being a sexpot stripping for David Letterman and playing the babysitter in Poison Ivy to being a sweet and often demure leading lady in films such as The Wedding Singer
and Never Been Kissed.
She kicked butt in Charlie's Angels,
and she displayed her dramatic abilities in Riding in cars with boys.
She had a tumultuous upbringing, and often felt abandoned by her parents. She authored the book, Little Girl Lost,
which was her autobiography about her life up to age 14. She had to grow up fast, and she had to be stable and self-reliant. She often referred to her family dynasty regarding looking up to actors she admired and respected. The Barrymores were notorious for their on-screen capabilities as well
