Reviews for Wake Up Hippo!

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is a very simple book for toddlers and babies. Hippo is shown on each page accompanied by a simple sentence describing what he is doing such as brushing his teeth or putting on his striped t-shirt. Very large and colourful illustrations show what he is doing to assist with picture clues. A great little story for family libraries as well as pre-school classrooms. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via netgalley.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It’s not bad, its just old. It may be a new edition, but it feels 40 years old. And the illustrations look 40 years old. A simple board book about the day in the life of a hippo. There are much better hippo books.
