- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5"Journey to Freedom: Coretta Scott King" is a thorough biography of her life and the civil rights movement. The book includes many photographs that help tell her story. There are also definitions of words that may be unclear to younger readers. This biography would be a great teaching tool.
