(Disclaimer: This is NOT the original book, but an unofficial summary.)
In The One Thing, Keller and Papasan challenges that popular belief and advocates focusing on one single thing that matters the most instead of spreading ourselves too thin. Keller and Papasan's book will strike you as different yet eye-opening. Having written this book from their own experiences, they have already proven that the One Thing does work and you can apply it to various aspects of your own life as well.
"Success is actually a short race – a sprint fueled by discipline just long enough for habit to kick in and take over" – Gary W. Keller
Most of the time, the way to approach matters may be so simple and straightforward but our complicated human mind always chooses to believe the complicated method as it seems more legitimate. Moreover, how can something complicated have such a simple solution? However, does it really have to be complicated? The One Thing will unravel the lies we've been fed as they present us with a new mindset that we should have adopted from the start.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of the best readtrepreneur’s summary! Loved it so much ?
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The One Thing was recommended to me by my biz coach. As I waited for the hardcover book itself, I listen to one audio summary and this PDF. Between the two, I think I can safely say the folks at Readtreprenuer did a great job distilling the information into a quickly accessible resource. I will never think summaries should replace the actual text (I’m a writer myself, after all) but resources of a quality like this are great additions to my learning.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a somewhat surprising book. I found myself reading the fully developed version of the hints and half-formed concepts that experience is slowly teaching me. The author writes with clarity and directness about the relatively counterintuitive road to success, and by so doing helps the reader leapfrog many years of trial and error. While more expensive than the usual Kindle book, I consider it money well spent.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is a great guide to success with good strategies
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5For those who have big "someday" projects and creative types, in general, looking for a way to get protect completed, I'd recommend the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is easily one of the best books I've ever read, with clear and understandable principles concerning what you want out of life.
