Tales of a Security Guard Volume One - Samuel Charles Andrews

My love for you is like a flower

My love for you is like a flower

My love for you is like rose

Except it’s not dieing by the hour

Like your love for me I suppose

    If you hurt me once

    It’s alright

    hurt me twice

    That’s nothing nice

Just because I couldn’t give you

    What you needed

    When you needed it

    I tried everybody knows

My love for you is like a flower

My love for you is like a rose

Except it’s not dieing by the hour

Like your love for me I suppose

When I was walking out of the house this morning

I remembered you called me selfish last night

Did I ever bring you a flower?

Did I ever bring you a rose?

Did you ever receive my card in the mail?

None of us are perfect we should not forget

We can’t get back what we had

Until we realize what we have

    Give you up

    I’ve been in love before

    And this ain’t it

In the puzzle of my life girl,

    You just don’t fit

    No, you don’t fit

Been a slave to your love to long

I’ll never be seen knocking at your door

I’m going to give you up

Cause you ain’t no good for me

    (Chorus)

    I’m gonna give you up

Cause you ain’t no good for me

    I’m gonna give you up

    Give you up girl

I think I’d rather be free

    (Verse two)

    Every other day you lie

You’re living your life in some disguise

    If it’s like this,

    Then this ain’t it

    Sometimes I miss you

I never want to kiss you

    Maybe never

    Don’t call me the morning

    Just because you’re horny

    (Bridge)

Your ex boyfriend said stay away

    But I had to play

    I had to play

Hurt me give me pleasure pain

    But I’m not staying

    (Repeat chorus twice)

    Lyrics Samuel Charles Andrews

    Going in Circles

If you are ever wondering why

    Your dreams are not coming
