Dr. Buchner started his aviation career in the United States Navy in 1968. He has worked on the P2v, P3, C-121, A-3, H-3, T-28, C-130, A-4, TC-4C, A-6, aircraft, tire shop supervisor and collateral duty inspector on the USS Coral Sea, Catapult crew for the A-3 on the U.S.S. F.D. Roosevelt while in the military, and numerous civilian aircraft to include various models of Cessna, Fairchild, Piper, Saberliner and Gulf stream. Dr. Buchner was an EP-3E flight engineer, quality control inspector/supervisor, and maintenance control supervisor, work center supervisor for both maintenance and inspection work centers, and instructor for part 147 & 65 schools. Education includes: AOS Commonwealth College, Virginia Beach, Virginia AS/BS Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. (Professional Aeronautics) (Minor safety) MA Cambridge State University (Curriculum and Instruction) PhD Cambridge State University (Philosophy) (Curriculum and Instruction) Professional certifications include: Airframes and Powerplants license (A&P) Inspection Authorization (IA) FCC General Radio Operators License (GROL) Radar endorsement National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers (NARTE) Level three (3) Technician with certifications in (Radiating) Administration and Regulatory. Aeronautical and Marine Radios, Education (Non-Radiating) Administration and Regulatory. Wire transmission systems, Education and Cable Transmission systems. CFC-12/ HFC134a Freon license Ham Radio License (KF4MOO) Dr. Buchner is also a proctor for FCC, FAA and Mobile Air conditioning Society (MACS) exams.
