    This book contains a variety of recipes that I have created. It also contains a wealth of nutritional information on many fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, seeds and other foods. This information has been gathered from different books and resources listed in the back of this book. The information from the references used is primarily based on research.

    It states in the Holy Bible, Genesis 1: 29 And God said, ‘See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.’As research is being done on plant food, the researchers are finding that the health and healing attributes of these foods are endless. One awesome discovery after another is being revealed about what our Creator provided for us to live healthy and wholesome lives. We need to take advantage of what He has given us to live healthier lives. I hope that what I am sharing with you in this book will help you to do this.

    I encourage you to check out the resources that I have listed in the back of this book and acquire even more knowledge than what I have provided to you. We can help our physicians out by making sure that we are maintaining a healthy diet, taking vitamin supplements and exercising on a regular basis. We should all be knowledgeable about our bodies and what we need to keep ourselves healthy. I have made that a mission of my own for the past thirty years with a desire to keep my health and wellness in my own hands. In the course of life, I have encountered a health issue due to the affects of getting older. Knowing what I know is what has kept and is keeping me alive. I hope that you will benefit from this information in the same way.

    Introduction

    I love to cook! I love to put good tasty foods together. I also have a passion about the great nutritional benefits that we have in many fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs and seeds. After reading about all of the amazing nutritional and healing foods that are available to us from our Creator, I have become dedicated to coming up with new and exciting ways to prepare foods that are high in nutritional value and make them taste great. As I began to do this for myself, I started sharing my creations with friends. That grew into me sharing them with many different people and sharing the nutritional information with them also. That is the reason that I am writing this book today. The sharing is just continuing on with you. I hope that this book will help you to create more healthy foods that you will enjoy and that will help you and your family to maintain good health as our Creator intended.

    We have so many wonderful fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and herbs available to us that are full of great vitamins and minerals that are so delicious and beautiful! I have so much fun coming up with new ways to mix these together. After each recipe I have shared just a little nugget of health information about one or two ingredients. More information is provided in the Nutritional Guide section of this book. It is my desire that we all become more practical about preparing our food in a more healthy way that is better for us on a daily basis.

    We have many health experts telling us that we should eat more carrots, kale, beets, etc. While we do become fascinated with the awesome information about the outstanding health and healing qualities of foods like these, we usually quickly go back to the old unhealthy ways of eating. We are spoiled as a society to enjoying more palatable foods that are not always good for us. I hope that this book will help you to do what the doctor has order. Who said healthy has to be tasteless and boring? Because I love to prepare and enjoy spicy and scrumptious dishes, I have come up with different ways that I can enjoy these healthy foods that the doctor has ordered in a way that I am accustomed. The techniques are also practical so that they can become a way of life and not just a quick healthy phase.

    Every fruit, vegetable, nut, seed and herb has unique nutritional and healing qualities in them. Research has been done that we all rely on to tell us what they have been created do. I have taken to heart the information that I have read and heard from selected and reliable resources. I have found this information to be most helpful in preventing disease and aiding in
