    FOREWORD

As a professional barber, I’m excited to see and hear young people talk about their relationship with God, so when the conversation starts, I begin to listen. What stands out in these conversations is their inner voice beginning to speak, the God in them. There are two situations that I see in young people. Either they come from a good Christian background, or a situation took place in their life and God steps in to help them overcome their situation. Nothing gives me more joy than to know I am in good company when the Lord is present.

When you read this book, you will find ways to discover what the miracle in you really means. If you are yearning to grow your soul as well as the soul of others, if you want to walk in the spirit, get ready to be challenged. Miracle in You is the best book I’ve read in years for helping people cultivate a deep and authentic spirituality. The purpose of this book is simply to awaken all the life within the soul. Every person who is serious about a connection with God should read this book.

Miracle in You is not something you should take lightly, but it will help you have a deeper relationship with God that will impact who you are, what you do, and how you do it. Now let’s take this journey together.

    INTRODUCTION

    8 Steps to Inner Connection

    22287.jpg

After all it is those who have a deep and real inner life who are best able to deal with the irritating details of outer life.

    –Evelyn Underhill

The reason I chose the eight steps is because I truly believe that these steps represent my personality, my character, and my vision in life. I believe if other people follow the same principles; the choices they make in life will be a lot more meaningful. Once you read the steps and apply them to your life you will forever be changed! So take this journey with me in connecting to the inner core (spirit).

    1. Being still You cannot find direction if you are always doing something. You must make time every day to be still and meditate. Listen to the inner voice and feel God’s presence within.

    2. Be real Make a commitment to take an honest look at yourself and be real about what you see. Identify the various disguises you’ve worn over the years trying to conform to what others expect of you rather than being who you really are. As you acknowledge and understand each one, you will also be able to see your original self, your truest self is your inner self.

    3. Believer Have faith in your ability to start anew from right where you are today. Believe that God is able to transform anything or anyone in your present life, and when you transform it can be something more wonderful than you ever imagined. It’s according to your faith. God is able if you are willing.

    4. Being forgetful Let the past be the past. Review it. Write about it. Grieve it. Seek counseling around issues that may arise then leave it. All those negative experiences from childhood, failed relationships, poor choices, old jobs must be left in the past. If we believe that all things work together for the good, to them who love God and are called according to God’s purpose(Romans 8:28), then we must live like it. It was bad while it was happening, but God was
