The Adorning of a Woman
()
About this ebook
Most women dedicate the majority of their time focusing on their outer appearance, and we diet like crazy while spending countless hours in the gym. We pay more attention to hairstyles and fashion than anything else. Sadly, most women spend more time in the mirror admiring their beauty than in the presence of the Almighty God! There isnt anything wrong with being beautiful, but remember that the true beauty of a woman lies within her heart, and not in her flesh or the things she adorns herself with. 1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

READERS:
This book has been simply written so that a child could grasp the information inside and not err.
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein (Isaiah 35:8).
INTRODUCTION
Most women dedicate the majority of their time focusing on their outer appearance, and we diet like crazy while spending countless hours in the gym. We pay more attention to hairstyles and fashion than anything else. Sadly, most women spend more time in the mirror admiring their beauty than in the presence of the Almighty God! There isn’t anything wrong with being beautiful, but remember that the true beauty of a woman lies within her heart, and not in her flesh or the things she adorns herself with. (1 Samuel 16:7)
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man (Proverbs 27:19)
Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief (Proverbs 28:14).
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh (Matthew 12:34).
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them (Matthew 13:15).
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man (Matthew 15:18).
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh (Luke 6:45).
I believe that women were born to be servants of the almighty God. In fact, women are more submissive to the Word of God than most men. The next time you’re attending church services, take a minute to count the ratio between all of the men and women who are present. I’m certain that you will agree with me. It is my belief that because of the obedience of women to the Word of God, he has used us as vessels since the beginning of time. Therefore, we must return to our rightful place in God.
And Ruth said, intreat me not to leave thee, or return from following after thee: for wither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thou GOD my GOD (Ruth 1:16).
And Deb’-o-rah a prophetess, the wife of Lap’-i-doth, she judged Israel at that time (Judges 4:4).
And she answered and said unto him, Yes, LORD: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter (Mark 7:28-29).
And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Mag-da-le’-ne, out of whom went seven devils (Luke 8:2)
And Jo-an’-na the wife of Chu’-za Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance (Luke 8:3)
And, behold, a woman in the city, which was sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, (Luke 7:37)
And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. (Luke 7:38)
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. (Luke 7:44)
Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. (Luke 7:45)
My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. (Luke 7:46)
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek JESUS, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the LORD lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the selpulchere with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word (Matthew 28:5-8).
When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother LO’-is, and thy mother Eu-ni’-ce; and I am persuaded that in thee also (2 Timothy 1:5).

OBEDIENCE
Obedience to the Word of God is what determines our fate. By obeying the will of God, we’re able to receive his gift of inheritance. There are two vital components in serving God: obedience and love. We were instructed to obey God and love him with all of our hearts, souls, and might.
And thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might (Deuteronomy 6:5).
Obeying the Word of God in all matters is what prevents curses from entering your home and allows you to maintain your relationship with almighty God. Believe it or not, obeying the Word of God will aid you in maintaining fruitful relationships with others. However, it is through your disobedience to the Word of God that the enemy is able to gain entry into your life to destroy it. You must be extremely cautious in your decision-making, speaking, and actions. Women, God has given us specific instructions on how to conduct ourselves, especially in marriage. As we journey through each chapter, let’s all adorn ourselves in the true Word of God.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? (Romans 10:14)
Most people ignore both God and his Word until storms start raging in their lives, and once the storms start, they become instant Christians. I used the word instant
only to express how quickly some folks become religious. Then, of course, after Jesus has rebuked the wind and rain in their lives, they return to their old ways. I advise you that whatever you do in Jesus’s name, let it be real, because whenever you need the help of God, you want to be able to call on his name with confidence that he’ll be there. You don’t want to doubt that God will rescue you because of your disobedience.
When you are obedient to God, you may seek him with expectancy. God then gives you the authority to speak life into your circumstances and the power to rebuke Satan. But how can you rebuke Satan if you have been serving him all day? Remember, your obedience to God enables him to give you Holy Ghost’s power, and it’s through your disobedience that you lose that very same power. You don’t have to be a thief, murderer, or adulterer to disobey the Word of God. You may be a faithful church member, a faithful wife, a good mother, a tither, a prayer warrior, and the preacher’s wife. You may have love for all of humanity, compassion, and charity, but if you aren’t submissive to your husband, then you are disobedient to the Word of God. As a result of your behavior, your prayers will be hindered because God will never bless a home in rebellion.
In today’s society, where most women are independent and self-reliant, submission appears to be a thing of the past. Satan has deceived more women into believing that they are equal to men than ever before (refer to 1 Peter 3:7 below). Some women are fooled into believing that because their income is greater than their spouses’, those men don’t deserve their respect. Other women feel that because they possess a higher level of education than their spouses, their husbands are incapable of making good decisions. Therefore,
