The financial life of a hairstylist is like a roller coaster. During the peak season of December, you’re so busy you feel like you can’t catch your breath; you’re running around like crazy, and cash is being handed out left and right. Then the reality of January hits, and hardly anyone is calling for an appointment. For years I rode the roller coaster because I thought I had to. I thought the money was cyclical and clients rode the seasons. When things were good, they were very good; and when they were bad, they would pass—at least I hoped so.
Through this book I will impart the tools I developed to finally get off this roller coaster.
