Chief among these is my darling husband and mentor, who has led me, and has lived an exemplary life in the ministry of fasting. He taught me the nitty-gritty of fasting.       FOREWORD

      P rophetess Mercy Ayorinde is no stranger to miracles. She has stood by her husband as the power of God came down in many Gospel crusades organised by their ministry, and experienced first-hand what the power of God can do. The blind have seen, the lame have walked and the deaf have had their ears opened by God’s power.

      Prophetess Ayorinde has ministered under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to countless women called barren by the world, and has seen God open their wombs to carry babies including sets of twins and triplets. Having ministered alongside her husband in a ministry known for profusion of miracles, she is definitely qualified to share some secrets and principles that made such manifestations possible.

      The vision behind this book is very straightforward: to provide divine wisdom and instruction to every believer concerning the ministry of fasting so as to open up to them a world of possibilities in the power of the Holy Spirit.

      This is a book on fasting by someone who has practiced the ministry. She is not teaching what she has not experienced, as she has fasted for extended periods, and have seen the results.

      Many ministers are only used to the transient pleasures of food, but are total strangers to the spiritual pleasures of the ministry of fasting. Ministers today are feasting when they should be fasting.

      Whether you are a mature believer with a lot of experience in Spirit-led fasting, or a baby believer with no knowledge about fasting at all, Prophetess Ayorinde has ministered in this book to all of us at our various levels.
