      This is a book of original poems that were written

      during 2012 and 2013. The poems represent

      celebrations of national holidays

      such as Thanksgiving and Independence Day,

      and reflections of an 80 year old

      man that cover a range of emotions from happiness

      and joy to horror, love,

      loneliness, and changes in the world that affect our lives.
