Introduction
There is a needed revolution, spreading and overtaking this world, unawares by most people. This need has been building for many years and is beginning to surface in the hearts of people. It has been a progressive revelation to people all over the world. People are tired of the status-quo and are ready to make changes in their life. We are no longer satisfied with a corporate job trying to climb the proverbial ladder of success only to find that it is leaning on the wrong wall. People are wanting the freedom that comes with purpose and perpetual increase.
The only thing the world knows is to work for someone else long enough, to save enough, to survive enough, but that is failing for most. They are stuck in this model and don’t know how to get out! More and more are wanting to make a difference in this world by using their gifts and talents to accomplish their heart’s desire, but don’t have the outlet or income to allow them this freedom. People want to be involved with something that brings life to everyone around them, but don’t know where to start.
My family and I have had the same desire and have set out on a mission to coach people in how to accomplish their God-given desires and walk in freedom. Freedom is being able to do what you want to do, when you want to do it and how you want to do it. If you cannot do any of these three elements (what, when and how), then you don’t have the freedom God desires for you. This is not just about a dollar amount or material things, but about freedom!
As we follow His plan in wisdom, He will set us free to do the things He has called us to do without any limitations. Any limitations against our total freedom is not of God and can be overcome. God has not put limitations on our freedom, but to the contrary, has provided complete freedom as we align with Him. God is not concerned about the expense of sending someone across the world to reach just one person. He needs us ready and available without any limitations.
This book was not designed to speak against anyone who wants to stay at their job or career, but for those who have something burning inside them that resonates with the freedom I’m speaking of. This freedom can be obtained while still deciding to remain at your job, if this is what you feel God wants. He still needs you able to give and support those who can go. My calling in life is to coach others toward this freedom in spirit, soul and body.
Many people make money at their jobs or careers but still see the need to create something that is greater than themselves. This is because we have a built-in, innate passion, to increase. We are not designed to accept the status-quo but to reach for more. This revolution is not just about ourselves, it’s about others and the generations to come. You may be happy where you are at in life, don’t stop there! What about your children or your children’s children, etc.? This is bigger than just ourselves and our decision will affect those coming after us.
My wife and I could get used to just drawing a simple retirement and living in a comfortable place doing nothing. This would only be thinking of ourselves and would not ultimately satisfy us. This is the American dream for most. God has put something within us that is drawing us to more. God has called us to leave a legacy, not just a fading memory; a perpetual increase, not just a dollar to be spent and gone. This requires getting outside of the world’s norm and expecting more. It requires God’s wisdom and direction along with a burning passion to do more. This is the entrepreneurial mindset that is rising throughout the world.
This mindset is raising a new generation of people who don’t want to settle for less than God’s best. Most know the verse from Proverbs 13:22;
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous."
Most only think of maybe leaving a little bit of money in a bank account or a plot of land that they leave to their children. While this is an honorable thing to do, this verse refers to a permanent or perpetual inheritance. This means one that doesn’t stop giving with just one generation. The legacy I want to leave for my children, grandchildren and so on, is one that doesn’t stop giving. A bank account, no matter how large, will eventually run dry, but something that continues to build and supply for generations to come would be an inheritance that is a perpetual legacy. This mindset of perpetual increase is the entrepreneurial mindset I speak of and one that can be fostered to grow in all of us. This mindset is needed no matter how much money you have or make. This is not a greedy mindset, but one that thinks of others and maximizes their stewardship.
It has been said that Warren Buffett evaluates his money not based on what he can buy but what he would be losing by buying the thing he is looking at. In other words, Buffett could buy anything his heart desires such as any car, but instead of just thinking
