I wrote the book, "Love Alone Is Not Enough" because it grieves me seeing the world changing its course negatively and by the fact that the people are already losing value of a family and honorable friendship. My love for Christ gives me the passion to write books about spirituality, motivation, and inspirational thoughts for the right living. While enjoying my career as a Prevention Analyst., I also enjoy coaching people and sharing with them the works and the word of Christ. And, being a current member of the Jail Ministry under the Light of the World Worldwide Ministries, together with our team, I enjoy going on an occasional visit and ministering and giving service to the persons who are deprived of enjoying their liberty.       Love Alone Is Not Enough - Li Yagas

      CHAPTER 1-

      Introduction

      Love is spoken everywhere and everyone is talking about it in songs, movies, and it is even taught in schools and at home. But how could it be so that we still live in a world where love does not seem to surface at all? We believed was that love is sweet. However, we often do not realize that love tastes sweet only in the mouth but later it is bitter to the belly.

      The BIBLE shows a lot of instances which shows that love was never sufficient. You can read through Psalm 38:11, Jeremiah 3:1, Jeremiah 4:30, Jeremiah 30:14, Lamentations 1:2, Lamentations 1:19, Hosea 2:7, Hosea 2:10 and 13 and a lot more verses to prove that love in and of itself will not do. And the same BIBLE also speaks about love which was wonderful and true. How love can become wonderful will be revealed to you by this book.

      There is that incomparable love which was ever wonderful and true and I could not find any exact picture of this than the way of how God has bestowed His love upon us. I can tell it from where I come from that God’s love was sweeter than anything, that no matter how hard life went through and is going through God has always been and will ever be true and faithful to us.

      I come from a family that had been through many trying times. The days remain fresh to me seeing my mother crying in tears. She had always been telling my siblings and me openly about the struggles she has had. As a son, I can feel her deep inside how she endured the trials and dumps our family has been battling. My dad was a loving father and I knew that for sure. But things changed unacceptably when he became very addicted to alcohol. It was not easy to see him drunk every single day back then. The whole time being with him was not doing fine. It was a tremor. It was always difficult for us to find a way to smile. Though we could laugh it was not completely joyful, and though we could smile there was the pull of our worries.

      We were drowning in poverty and it always seemed to be that there was no hope for us to swim ashore. We were so clouded by the mists and tossed by big waves that we could barely see the dry bounty land.

      Despite all of his shortcomings, my mother never stopped loving my dad. This is what I realized because of her, that even though a person fails you a ton of times, it is doable to still love, forgive and to trust that person again and again even for as many repeating times possible.

      Those were the days but I praise the God of faithfulness who was our anchor and refuge. He never held back salvation for my father. He granted him the chance for change and my dad got saved before his life came to the end.

      Today, we are continually enjoying God’s unfailing love and His faithfulness. Bit by bit life is becoming better. Slowly and surely I know that God is getting us out from lack as He has promised in Jeremiah 9:11.

      "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

      Glory to His Holy Name.

      Taking this point on, I thought of writing this book because I want to broadcast how wonderful it is to be surrounded by love and by loving people. But at the same time, I want everybody who reads this book to understand that love in and of itself is not all there is and so it is important that we become acquainted on how else we can make it better and to last a lifetime. We need other things other than love to make it work well for us and the people surrounding us. This book is going to uncover all the things that will help create a wonderful and true love. Love in general.

      Love is such a feeling that is meant for everybody to feel and enjoy. Everything is based upon love. Man was created out of love. Man was judged for destruction and was meant for complete eradication because of all the iniquities, but because of love as well he continues to exist until this day.
