      Bitcoin gives us, for the first time, a way for one Internet user to transfer a unique piece of digital property to another Internet user, such that the transfer is guaranteed to be safe and secure, everyone knows that the transfer has taken place, and nobody can challenge the legitimacy of the transfer.       I want you to focus on the last sentence of this quote from Marc Andreessen. The consequences of this breakthrough are hard to overstate? Bill Gates calls Bitcoin a technological tour de force. You can't possibly watch the news or popular television shows without some mention of Bitcoin. From C-SPAN to The Simpsons, Jeopardy, or Family Guy, Bitcoin has become a household name. But do you know what all the hype is about? Do you know why this new strange entity is receiving so much attention? If not, then you chose the right book. This book is for the common man who wants to go from ignorance to being in-the-know on everything related to the revolution that is Bitcoin and blockchain in the shortest period of time.

      This primer is not for the person who wants to make a quick buck on the latest craze with no interest in the underlying technology that drives this change.
