LEARNING HOW TO SEW by hand is not only fun, but it will save you money. Hand sewing can be used to mend and alter garments, add embellishments to garments, accessories, and home décor items, and to create cute and thoughtful gifts. You won’t have to take garments to the tailor to sew on a button or hem a pair of pants, but you can do these things easily on your own. You will also be able to mend small rips and save your favorite garments from the rag pile. Hand sewing is also used in conjunction with machine sewing for finishing and fitting adjustments. If you’re ready to learn one of the handiest and valuable skills you can know, let’s get started!
