About this ebook

Spells and charms (originally, from the word to protect, [оберегать], which have remained till our days from the ages are nothing, but particles of ancient pagan prayers. With the adoption of Christianity in Ancient Russia, texts of canonical and apocryphal prayers were included in a number of spells, while the rest of them remained almost unchanged. However, all of them are the strongest carrier of spiritual energy. There is a lot of unclarity and inexplicability from the point of view of the modern human being. This heritage comes from the distant past.

Spells are the secret knowledge of healers, wizards, fortune-tellers. Our ancestors asked them for help in cases of illnesses or some daily household needs.

In this book, a set of “tools” is collected for all occasions. It is intended, first of all, for women. In ancient times of matriarchy, a woman was the one who protected her family from degeneration, evil spirits, danger. Her spells helped to raise the prosperity of a family, successful hunting, fishing. They also helped both the old and the young; helped with the family, love, protected the cattle from diseases, made soldiers invulnerable in fights.

Women were the guides-healers. They knew the prophetic word creating a spell. Since it was a woman giving life to a child, she felt involved in the supernatural world, unearthly forces. Witchcraft passed from generation to generation: from grandmothers to young women by holding a special ritual.
