Yep. It has never been easier to become an author… seriously
By now you probably already know at many of the benefits that being an author can have on your business.
You know that being an author will help you qualify and convert more leads than ever before. You know that your book can be your ultimate marketing tool.
You may even already know that you can use your book to grow your personal brand and appear on podcasts and in media, turning you into the industry authority.
However, more than likely, the main thing that is holding you back is actually writing your book.
That's where we usually come in. We help business owners just like you get your first book outlined, written and published as a paperback in under two hours of your time.
The process is pretty simple... and it is all covered in The 2 Hour Author
- We outline your book based off the problem you're solving and the market you're working with.
- We record a podcast-style interview where you get to talk about your ideas and passionately talk about your topic.
- The writing, editing, cover design, and publishing is sorted for you.
However, I know that not everyone can work with us. That is why I wrote The 2 Hour Author, so business owners like you can take control and write your own book.
Of course, as you know, leveraging time is key. So to be a full 2 Hour Author, you'll need to outsource some parts of your process. However, if you want to do it all yourself, our process will save you months of writing.

The Two Hour Author - Vince Massara
Why You Should Read This Book
Almost every non-fiction book begins with some emotional or inspiring story. You know, that story that connects the reader and the author; a story that builds trust while showing off the author’s pedigree.
However, you’re not getting that story here.
Instead, you’re about to learn how you can become a published author in under two hours of your time.
While getting it done in under two hours that does require some outsourcing, even if you want to do it all yourself, you’ll still save months of writing time.
It has never been easier to become an author... seriously
And you’re not alone, because, well, writing a book can be really bloody hard if you do it the old fashioned way.
It is my goal that this no-fluff guide to writing a book will give you all you need.
The aim of this book is to give a business owner like the tools to get the book from your head onto paper.
Sure, if you’re an advanced author, there may be a takeaway or two in here, but this book more than likely isn’t for you.
You will get step-by-step instructions through the whole process in this book. You will learn everything from choosing your book topic, all the way to email templates that will get you appearances on podcasts and in media.
At the end of each chapter there is even a checklist, so you can track your process as you read.
While we do have a process at We Make Lead Magnets to write lead generating books in under two hours of the author’s time, I understand that our process isn’t for everyone, so I have included more steps if you’re a do-it-yourself kinda person.
If you’re more of the ‘read the whole book then start writing’ type, that is okay too. There is another full checklist at the back of the book.
The most important thing for you to remember is that without action, this book will be completely useless to you. I wish you all the success and luck throughout your book writing process.
There are some tools which I link to in this book which have affiliate links, meaning that if you do purchase them, I receive a small cut. However, I only suggest these tools because they’re what I use.
PART 1: BEFORE WRITING YOUR BOOK
Determine the purpose of your book
Before you even think about opening a word document, you need to be able to have an over-arching plan and goals for your book.
There is obviously a reason for you writing your book; otherwise, you’d just keep a diary.
Find your why
I have a question for you. Why are you writing your book?
I bet you didn’t think I’d be asking you questions in the first ten minutes, but it is important to know. When you know what you want to achieve, it’s easier to reverse engineer the process and make decisions about publishing your book.
Here are a few common reasons why people publish a book.
To Generate Leads
It is no surprise that the books we make at We Make Lead Magnets are lead generation
