CUCUMBERS, but not as you know them!
After my first infatuated infanticide of radishes, the welcome brown-tinged leaves of ‘Marvel Of Four Seasons’ lettuce which have sailed through winter without serious damage came as a welcome break. These were followed by biting land cress, the last lamb’s lettuce and not , the normal cue to you and me. What’s the difference?
