In Exacerbate, the Author introduces her Readers to the world of sickening violence, horrific brutality, and other mutilations as she uses several murderous characters to show the differences between victims who are not drawn into sadistic vengeance and those victims who mutilate others because they themselves have been mutilated. She will lead the Reader on an expedition into the minds of heartless killers as she examines their psychological profiles; 7 Murderers and this Author will be profiled to answer this question; why will some Victims turn to violent retribution, mayhem, and murder while others choose not to?

INTRODUCTION

A HEAD FOR AN EYE

Exacerbate in medicine and for this book means, to increase the severity, bitterness, or violence of (disease, ill feeling, etc.); to aggravate. Behind every foodless/homeless person, every abused person, and every abusing person, there is a horror story. In this book, we will visit the terror behind the failure of mankind to honor thy neighbor as thyself. Throughout the world, we have countless dead bodies left in a horrifying display by someone who has become inhumane. How did these sadistic characters become who they are? Answering this question is what this book is about.

I didn’t write this book to entertain those who love blood and gore, thou certainly I will take us right into the mouth of the lion to see how he separates flesh from bone; I wrote this book to show you up close and personal the person who murders repeatedly. I show you who he or she is, where he or she lived, who they lived with, who they interacted with, when they began to murder, who they murdered, and why they murdered. Most will sound like fiction, but this is not a book of fiction, it is a book of facts. I don’t leave you in these dark places of murder without enticing your mind into looking closer; peering behind entertainment into a scientific study of this horrific phenomenon.

The insanity that is not induced is about as rare as two babies born joined at birth, it happens naturally, but not so much. Induced insanity is preventable, natural insanity is maintainable. Because inequality, bigotry, and greed has forced most people into obscurity and poverty, the sufferings of such outcasts have exacerbated many times into criminal insanity. The results of such exacerbation are astronomical in the murderous impact it has had on our desired peaceful society. The non-violent person is striving to gain insight into why murder is so prevalent in modern society. If we want to gain this insight into murder, we must go in closer to examine it. Knowledge as valuable as this does not come cheap or easy. So, I applaud your willingness to take this expedition into the Psyche of modern society’s Killer.

Why would I write a book containing such a gruesome topic? Imagine; you are a normal American adult, you’re educated, you have children that you adore, but you’re terrified something will go wrong because you have no accessible Family to turn to, then the unthinkable happens, one of your Beautiful Precious Babies is brutally murdered just one month after he turned 7-years-old; stabbed 19 times then slitting your Baby’s throat and throwing him on your kitchen floor, leaving him for you to find him. You find him, then after near screaming your bowels out of your throat, you lose your mind, you fall…It takes over 30 years to do it, but you rise as strong as metal forged in fire. You healed! But, with your healing came a burning need to protect children and other innocents from the horror your child suffered… these words tell you why I write this book, now my next words will tell you why I invite you to walk into these dark minds with me.

I invite you because something radical needs to happen to reduce murder in America and throughout the world. We are under an internal attack. I keep hoping that without my help; it will stop by someones else’s plan, but it only increases every day. I need you to realize how normal murder has become in our normal society. I need you to WAKE UP! We will not solve this critical problem by ignoring the problem or by ignoring each other. Think about this; the last time you passed someone on a sidewalk or in a hallway, did you do more than glance at this fellow human being? Did you speak? Did he or she speak? There was a time, not so long ago, this would have been formidable, now, most of the time we don’t give eye contact, not even a nod for a greeting, even when we live in the same building or neighborhood. Therefore, fledgling murderers can mutate into killers right in front of our unseeing eyes. So, I invite you on this journey with me to introduce you to your Neighbor.

In America, we are fighting to add new law and protect antiquated law that allows us to condemn the person, who lashes out with violence originating from past abuses to lethal injection or life imprisonment. We misjudge the results of the hell a person endures growing up in neglect and abuse as we delete the injustices that spawned the results. Jerking our heads back from the clouds is mandatory to see that these injustices were spawned by injustices and will spawn more injustice until we reverse the trend. Can you imagine us as a United Civil Country if mass murder increases at all? I am certain that we know if we do nothing to reverse this horrific trend, it will only surge; don’t we know this?

I am taking you on an expedition through hell’s madness, not just to entertain you, but rather to intrigue and entice you to act. When we all band together to do just a small action toward murder reduction, the combination becomes a thunderous roar and a mad charge against murder and its impact on our Nation. We begin to see signs of Peace. But we can’t get there until hearts change. So, before you see murder up close, let’s ponder just a little how we get to murder…

Leaving our fellow humans behind while degenerating resources can destroy the fiber of our Country. This disparity can cause the masses of poor people from third world countries, and even from the Skid Rows right here at home, to grumble as they watch us stuff ourselves. Look a little closer and you will see that they are increasingly becoming infuriated, as they watch us up close and from afar, throwing away food and other resources they long for. This is not to point a finger at man or woman, it is to remind us that by continuing to do this, our Peaceful society has Exacerbated the traumas of the poor, constructing enemies from within. We can reverse this trend and move toward Love simply by a change of heart. A heart that focuses only on self will fail. When we have gained America, even a semblance of self-control over our voracious appetites, the rest of the world can follow…

Yes, we fail ourselves, our God, and each other when we watch others starve while we eat. This kind of antithetical accountability is immoral and can become sadistic. We should be taught from our youth through to adulthood that the Pursuit of Happiness is a God-Given gift that every human being has their inalienable right to. We are not in a Human Race, the goal of fulfillment welcomes us all, no need to push others out of the path of Grace in our pursuit for happiness.

World Leaders should be obligated to lead in this fashion, but It is obvious that they are not leading in this way, so we see signs of failure as a Nation, as a World. Everyone desires and need strong leaders, but no one desires to follow traders to humanity, we may attempt to fake the follow, but we humans, who innately know we are all equal, will eventually realize injustice and lash out…Hence, the MURDERER!

It is easy to believe that there is No One, Not One Single Soul, who cares about the horrific nightmares of the abused and murdered, other than the victim himself or herself. Everyone else can appear only to focus on and rejoice in their own time of Blessed and Highly Favored while they are covering their eyes and ears to the hell that is forever present. But then, as the fog lifts, we find millions out here who do care, even billions, you were not hearing the screams of victims because you were distracted… PLEASE WAKE UP!

To start this journey into REALITY, meet your guide, the Author who will swing open the doors to 7 rooms in Humanity’s Insane Asylum to meet the horrible beast who lives within. But first, she will introduce the first Psyche team who has conducted a study that reveals causes & effects of violence on young minds. These Psychologists will present truths and proofs, both medically and psychologically, that murder is co-created by the surroundings, but blamed only on the hands-on perpetrator. This study will help us absorb necessary detail before we move into the corridors of horror where victims mutate into psychopaths who demand not just an eye for an eye, but a head for an eye, not just retribution or vengeance but sadism and mutilation:

I write this book because I am an inquiring victim! From 4 years old, I suffered molestation, abuse, bigotry, even worse and I was blamed for it all, I later learned all those esteem breaking experiences were kindergarten stuff. Terror was on its way. When I turned 37, I was catapulted into a level of horror, fury, and insanity that would forever haunt me; I became a Mother of a Murdered Baby. I lived through the brutal murder of my seven-year-old son, my only son. Murdering me would have been kind in comparison to murdering my child. It took 32 years to rise out of the flames of agony, void of vengeance, filled with courage, ready to fight back. However, I must admit that I am quite surprised to see that my resurrection was not as I anticipated, you know, guns blazing and the like. No, my lethal weapons turned out to be my pen and my tongue. Who Knew? The Pen and the Tongue are so much mightier than the Gun. So, what the horrendous person(s) meant for evil in ripping away the life of my child, God meant for the making of Aasia Stormm.

I did this research to take a CLOSE look into the Psyche of these 7 killers, all coming from 7 different backgrounds, killing in 7 different ways, who lived and mutated uniquely through 7 different cultural experiences, but, who all had one thing in common; they were ignored while they suffered as children who were being abused by adults and/or bullied by other children, while no one seemed to care about their torture, which appears to be typical for most murderers. I introduce you to this cast of horrors to show you the commonalities of murder, moving from a child who murdered, to a vigilante, to murder for profit, and more. We, the People must realize that it is our moral responsibility to sharpen our senses to murderous characteristics.

I am American, giving me the audacity to write this book, Freedom of Speech and all. I write this book to speak out against complacency around murder and aggregated violence. It seems that few Americans are as bewildered and belligerent as I am over the steady incline of murderous behavior in our modern society so, I write this book first to Americans because you are the smartest, most intelligent people on the planet (a little biased). YET! Our Sweet Innocent Babies are being slaughtered, Innocent people are being mass murdered, and uncountable citizens are being raped, mauled, tortured, and other unfathomable acts while we intelligent beings do little or nothing to circumvent these atrocities.

Most of our American neighbors do little or nothing to fight murder that exceeds protecting themselves. I know first hand this is true because, as I mentioned in the first lines of this introduction, I am the living victim of my Baby’s murder and rare is it that I have encountered a person who has shown sincere concern over the murder of my seven-year-old Baby; shock for a few moments yes, heightened interest for a minute or two; yes, but little or no concern, and in our world today, even momentary shock and interest is disappearing; murder is becoming a boring subject to many. I’ve asked repeatedly, how can that be? Yet I have watched horrified as mass murder occurs several times a year, right here in America and I have also watched in horror as complacency has developed around these horrific events right here in America. You see, so long as horror is newsworthy (make money), we see it covered on the TV screen BUT, as soon as it is not newsworthy (won’t make money), the noise around the atrocity dies down, immediately resulting in an eerie silence around the matter, right here in America. Americans should cease believing that our Country is immune to this epidemic of murder when it’s happening at arm’s length. Not one single American can act as if murder is none of your business; It is all our business! Every single American should ignite your own fire in you that shouts Enough is Enough! Then join the battle lines to wipe out murder!

This book originally came to be because I wanted to interview murderers, particularly child murderers because, even when I used all my imagination to grasp how an adult or child for that matter, could ever stand over a Baby and brutalize that child the way mine was, I fell short. So, I needed to look deeply into the eyes of him or her who could do such an atrocious act and interrogate them! Now I just want to Save them because, in that moment of Salvation, I will save you and I also because, if we reduced murder by 1%, that’s thousands of people who will have been saved from this horrific act.

The treacherous people who heartlessly commit murder must be destroyed and in the Infamous words of Abraham Lincoln; Do I Not Destroy My Enemies When I Make Them My Friends. This book is brought to you to change you; to make you want to do more, to make you realize that only YOU can reduce murder. As we heal these violators, we change our world, heightening the probability of walking peacefully into a safe future.

Armed with what I have learned as a Victim, Former Police Officer, Activist, Substance Abuse Therapist, Author, Entrepreneur, Radio Host, International Journalist, and Mother, I am prepared to fight with my entire might, to bring light to this dark place called murder.

Every act of revenge and avenge can be justified. Not by the onlooker, but by the beholder. It will serve little or no purpose to judge or rather misjudge persons who have mutated to violence and mayhem in response to past terror(s). WE, AS A PEOPLE, WILL FARE MUCH BETTER should we take off our shoes for just a moment to walk in the shoes of victimized perpetrators. It has been proven that it is far easier to deny the attraction to bizarre, unique, or different behavior when the enticement is not strongly pulling at you. What would you do if it were You?

It is easy to misjudge a person when he or she is attracted to something that you are not attracted to but, what if you were attracted? Then, how would you fare? What would be your REAL judgment then? This book will take you on a journey into the psyche of 7 high profile killers, it will take you from their beautiful gardens of innocence to their horrific terrains of terror. This book will also examine the Psyche and Experiences of a woman (this Author), who also was victimized in her youth, but did not become a murderer. Then, it will end its investigation with the request that you ponder these questions, "What would you have done had you walked in the perpetrator’s shoes? What would you have done had you walked in the Author’s shoes? How should you adapt your thinking in a world desperate for you to reroute?

We now know that Looking Out for Number One does not work. Protecting our Child(ren) only does not work. Allowing antiquated, destructive, and oppressive legislature to remain Law does not work. What works is searching deep into the reality of murder to dissect it to find the hidden predatory nature that has gravely hurt our Nation and our World, then to apply the healing balm that will save us.

Serial killers, mass murderers, child molesters, and others like them have haunted our nation and our world for far too long as we initially look on in astonishment then just days later, even hours later, after these unleashed DARK forces have attacked, we forget the incident, or we ignore the incident, walking blindly through this devastation as if it doesn’t exist…This Too Does Not Work. We all must take a deep, up-close look into the Psyche of the killer to determine what created this kind of heart then create the healing balm that can heal it BEFORE it attacks…

In this, the fourteen chapters of Exacerbate, the reader will be introduced to colleagues who have conducted exhaustive study on abuse, mayhem, and murder to analyze a crippling part of humanity where lives, hiding in plain sight, hideous demonic destroyers longing to hurt others; these human beings have developed characters that crave the extraction of kindness and fair play to exact vengeance for self-gratification. In these fourteen Chapters, you will also be introduced to Human Beings who have left honor behind and slithered into a world where vile behavior is the norm, where murder, rape, victimization and the like are fitting and proper behaviors; of a people who reside in Darkness.

This Introduction to Exacerbate; From Victim to Killer has to be lengthy because this book intends to clarify that it is not just the killer today who are filled with vengeance and self-absorption; it is most of humanity; Normal individuals who have been infected with the disease of selfishness which, when allowed to run amuck in the heart can, in fact, turn into violence and psychotic behavior.

We must prepare ourselves to visit these sick minds to find the message of the journey, so before I introduce you to the first murderer, let’s ponder the findings of a study on Domestic Violence and its impact on children as preparation for your journey because it is self-evident that much of humanity has tiptoed into that Darkness where the beast lives and thus have been infected with some of its diseases. To make your introduction to these 7 beasts advantageous, you should take in the following facts.

To pave the road to enter the terrain of America’s most notorious killers and the one who got away, we will first review the effects of violence, neglect, and self-absorption on innocent victims, even babies, and small children to see what can happen to young minds when deprived of love, kindness, and protection.
