      Cute. Decent anger management philosophy, with some suggestions on how to redirect. Older kid.

      Although superheroes have bad days just like the rest of us, they don't use their superpowers in a destructive way, no matter how badly they are feeling. So the narrator of this rhyming picture-book romp assures us, describing all the chaos they could cause, but don't, because superheroes "just wouldn't."An entertaining look at the negative emotions that accompany a really bad day, from anger to grief, Even Superheroes Have Bad Days offers a positive super-heroic example for young children on how to deal with and control those feelings. Author Shelly Becker's text has a nice cadence to it, while the accompanying artwork by illustrator Eda Kaban is colorful and full of humor. Recommended to all superhero-obsessed youngsters, as well as to any child (read: all of them) that struggles from time to time to handle their own anger and frustration.

      This book is about how superheroes can have bad days. It is informational on how to have healthy alternatives to having tantrums. I would use this for K-1st grade. Illustrations: mixed media
