Stampers’ Challenge
Christmas Stars
By Michelle Lupton
METHOD
1 Stamp and emboss a Darkroom Door Brushed Christmas large star in the top right-hand corner of Ranger watercolour card 140mm x 100mm using VersaMark ink and Ranger liquid platinum embossing powder as shown.
2 Stamp and emboss the large star twice more on the panel using VersaMark ink and Hero Arts gold for one, and Simon Says Stamp rose gold embossing powder for the other, let both images overlap the edges as shown.
3 Repeat with Brushed Christmas medium and small stars as pictured, be careful not to overheat and flatten previous embossed images, and use an anti-static pillow between applications.
4 Draw lines connecting the stars to the top of the card using a t-square ruler with red, gold and silver gel pens.
5 Cut a thin strip of American Crafts black glitter card and adhere it to the left-hand side of the panel using double-sided tape. Secure the panel to the front of folded white card 140mm x 210mm using double-sided tape.
6 Stamp Brushed Christmas ink and white emboss it. Trim it in a banner and add it to card using mounting tape.
