A TREASURE TROVE OF TOOLS for the TUSSLE

    weapon 1 | VISION

Men learn early how to undress women with their eyes. This is an exercise most boys learn in their adolescent years and often times it’s a practice men take to the grave. In many cases it is sport and in others it is technology. Men are programmed to keep their heads on a swivel with the universal turn and downward glance of the female anatomy as if we are robots trained to scan and x-ray on command. This is a tradition passed down from our fathers, uncles, brothers and the men that we admire. While it is a custom of lust, it is a real phenomenon experienced by most men. This practice is so common to the male experience and so time traveled that even Jesus advised men by saying, …whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. So men’s eyes have been getting them in trouble for centuries.

But wait a minute, Jesus’ statement opposes Man Law which clearly states in Section 1, Code 3, It don’t hurt to look. So, why is a quick look to see what a woman is working with or a five second daydream a sin? The answer is straightforward. Vision is sperm. Let’s say a man thinks that he’s going to lose his job, his mind now must create a picture of his boss informing him of his termination. He sees it. The moment he can grasp a picture of the concept, it’s done. Conception is immediate. It’s just a matter of time before the results are tangible. Like Jesus said, once a man envisions it, he has already caused it to happen. Once you can perceive it, the thing is already planted and committed. You can abort this pregnancy if you so choose but, you cannot deny that you committed the act that produced the seed.

The good news is that the same eyes, mind and focus that can cause a man to lust can also be used to cause him to prosper. Why? It is because a man’s mind is a force. His vision is the life sperm that empowers him to bring concepts into the earth. He just needs to learn how to use his mind for a greater cause, redirect his focus and correct his vision.

In the pursuit of women, men tend to be aggressive, focused and relentless. But, any boy can watch women. My question is a grown man challenge: Do you have the mindset to visually undress your dream? Let’s take the classic married guy as an example. This guy has a high physical scan IQ. He can be both holding hands and a conversation with his wife and at the same time have thoroughly checked another woman out without appearing to have noticed her at all. He is just as gifted in this no look pass approach as Magic Johnson in his prime. But that same guy lacks the ability to fully undress his dream. He is passive, easily distracted, intimidated by and/or quick to quit on his purpose. Many a man has folded the tent because he could not see the possibility of his dream in his heart and he could not grasp the concept of reaching his ultimate goal in his mind. I have even seen extremely successful men talk themselves out of fulfilling their greatest dreams because they could not see through the material and genuinely imagine themselves being in that fantasized position in real time. But, what if every man was adept at seeing through the obstacles and into the opportunity? What if we spent our time focused on seeing our most noble imaginations unfold? What if we mastered the skill of seeing ourselves accomplish our goals? What if we were experts at visualizing ourselves walking in our highest calling and finishing our life’s work? No matter how lofty or how ‘out of our league’ the prospect of the future was, what if we pursued the supposedly impossible tasks with the boyish naïveté that one day we would obtain the promise? More than that, what if this were the focus and perseverance that we passed on to our sons, nephews, brothers and those young men who followed us? In other words, what if the average Joe had vision? I submit to you that if he did, he would no longer be average, he would be a king.

In the 2005 romantic comedy, Hitch, Will Smith plays Alex Hitchins; aka, the Date Doctor. As a relationship consultant, Smith is a self employed trainer of men who've not yet mastered the art of capturing the women of their dreams. The Date Doctor's message is simple... Basic Principles: No matter what, no matter when, no matter who... any man has a chance to sweep any woman off her feet. Just needs the right broom.

In this film, Hitch takes some of the most ordinary and pitiful men and teaches them to bait and catch women who are light years and galaxies out of their leagues. The flick features chumps, dorks and scary men snagging hot babes. The show ends with the primary character; a fat boy and klutz, winning a rich and attractive heiress. Well, every man has a date with destiny; he just needs help reeling this 3,000 pound marlin in the boat. That's where I come in... With a similar message: No matter what, no matter when, no matter who... In the words of JFK, "[any] man can be as big as he wants." Any man can master his life. He just needs the right level of concentration.

I cannot get you to your destination without locating where you are right now. So, the first question is easy. Where are you? How close are you to reaching destiny? Well, let’s see. Back your life against the Mission Scale on the next page and we'll get a good look at how you measure up.

Where do you line up? What's your physical location at this point in your life? Are you Man 1, Man 2, Man 3, Man 4 or a King? Where ever you are on the scale, this book of weapons will be useful to you as you move forward (even if you think you already have it all figured out).

Now that you've had your physical examination you've officially been enlisted. If you’re still reading this book then you’ve signed up for a mission. The goal is to mature and/or focus your vision. So, let’s go.

The next step is to escort you to the arsenal. My job here is simply a weapons instructor. Now, the basic of basics, for an individual infantryman are small arms weapons. Much like the M16A2 Rifle is a standard issue weapon in the military, vision is a standard issue in the battle to manifest your destiny. That's why you're given this weapon first. Virtually every soldier operating in a combat zone carries an M-16. Likewise, every man in a forward area; or on the battleground of life, with a desire to achieve more, should be carrying vision. Without vision, people perish. You've heard that before, right? Well, now that you know that vision is a weapon, it should make as much sense to have vision on your person at all times as it does for soldiers on the front line to always have small arms with them. Why? In war, without guns, people perish.

Vision will help you at every level on the mission scale. It will also be your primary arm for successfully getting you to the next phase of your development. Each man in each season needs the right perspective. There is no single time in combat where a man should feel secure if he is unable to see. Likewise, there is no point
