About this ebook
Bigger, better, more is how the world determines who's special and who's not. It's a message your kids are hearing every day. But it's not God's message.
His truth is simple and never-changing: It's not what you have, it's Whose you are. And it's a truth that the lovable Wemmick, Punchinello, hears again at the knee of his creator in this faithful, fully illustrated sequel to You Are Special.
Punchinello's lesson in love will help you speak God's heart to the heart of every child: You are special, not because of the things you have, but because you are Mine.

Reviews for You Are Mine
63 ratings4 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am God's child and that is what makes me happy and special. what an important reminder.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a good example of modern fantasy because the wooden dolls in this book are given human characteristics such as being able to talk, walk, and buy things. They are also able to think and have feelings, which is what this book is all about. The wooden puppets think it that having a lot of boxes and balls will make them feel important, but then the main puppet visits the person who made him and there he realizes that it was silly to get caught up in all of that. Although it is a fantasy, the reader can easily identify with the puppets as issues of identity and fitting in are common in today's world. Media: pen and ink, watercolor
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Critique: This is a good exapmle of a fantasty because of how the main charaters are not real people, but instead wooden puppets called wimmicks that talk. It is also a fantasy because of how it takes place in an unrealistc world where boxes and balls represent wealth. Genre: Fantasy
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good book to read to teach children to accept others without criticism.
