Foundation is the second book in the Earthborn Saga, a tale of epic fantasy intermixed with aetherpunk and science fiction. The Saga weaves the tale of the Grimstad family and their adventures in a new and foreboding world.
Timothy Manley
Timothy Manley was born in Blythe California in the summer of 1967. He lost his father at the age of two and spent much of his youth travelling around the country. He grew up with the original Star Trek and developed a deep love of science fiction. Even though he started college studying Electrical Engineering, during his 5th semester he changed it and graduated in 1991 with a degree in English and a focus in creative writing. Since the Universe enjoys playing games of twisted fate he found that his hobby gave him skills that the business world needed desperately in the early 90s. Coupled with the fact that he really needed to support himself since his early attempts at writing weren’t panning out, he entered the world of IT. Fast forward to over 20 years in the industry with a current active career as a Computer Operations Engineer. His writing was always a hobby, something he did as he had time. It was a dream that was placed on the shelf in order to support a family. Sure it was taken down and played with from time to time, but it was always put back on the shelf. The age of 50 began to rear its head and snicker at him. So, he and his wife decided it was high time the dream was taken permanently off the shelf. If such a thing as a “retirement career” truly exists, and if it’s possible at all to make one as a writer, well it was long past time to put the effort into making it work. And that leads us to you reading this. There will be more. Hopefully you’ll be reading those as well.
