      It is possible that a majority of the American People did not fully grasp the issues in the 2016 Campaign. Some might have thought a business person might run the Government like a business. They made a similar mistake in 1928 by electing Herbert Hoover (R-CA) with 58% of the popular vote and 444 State Elector Votes, to 40% popular vote and 87 State Electors for Al Smith (D-NY). The 2016 Campaign of Propaganda had its origins in the 2011 Smear that President Obama was born in Kenya, and, therefore, was not eligible to be President under the Constitution. The smear against Obama's citizenship was popular with uneducated conservatives and Party professionals. Trash writer Jerome Corsi gave the smear credence with, "Where's the Birth Certificate?" (2011) (WND Books).

      Hillary Clinton (D-NY) was a formidable standard-bearer for the Democrats. When Clinton resigned as Secretary of State in 2013, she had a positive poll-rating of 51%. Republicans feared that none of their candidates would measure up. GOP Leaders called for a smear. Republicans controlled the House Committees. The GOP Leadership decided to blame Clinton for the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans killed in the terrorist raid on the U. S. Mission in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced publicly that the House organized the Select Committee on Benghazi to bring down Clinton's poll numbers. GOP Leaders were shocked that McCarthy told the truth. They brought in Paul Ryan to take the Speaker's Gavel from John Boehner, instead of choosing McCarthy, who needed more seasoning.

      Mad Dog, Trey Gowdy, (R-SC), a former state and federal prosecutor, spent three years trying to blame Clinton for Benghazi. Gowdy questioned Clinton on one day for eleven hours without scoring any points. When Benghazi failed, GOP Leaders started a smear campaign that alleged Clinton's use of unprotected emails endangered National Security. The State Department Inspector General (IG) took no effective action to ensure regularization of Clinton's emails while she was Secretary of State. After Clinton resigned, the State IG opened an Investigation, which he soon punted to the FBI. FBI Director James B. Comey announced Julyn 5, 2016, that there would be no prosecution, but, in violation of policy, gratuitously offered that Clinton was extremely negligent. Eleven days before election, Comey shocked the nationa as he re-opened thr investigation to review more Clinton emails.

      Three days later, Comey closed the Investigation for good. Despite a three-year smear campaign mounted by GOP Leadership in Congress, despite the support of Right Wing Media, Rupert and Lachlan
