Five long days

With her sun-kissed skin that made her strawberry-blonde hair shine and her blue eyes sparkle, Ashlee Brown was your ‘typical Aussie girl’.

She loved the beach, singing, dancing and, like most teenagers, couldn’t wait to spread her wings.

By the time she was 18, she was taking regular trips to Melbourne. That’s where she met Mohamed Naddaf.

And, soon, she brought him back to Victoria to meet her mother Siobhan.
