About this ebook

Resistance (At All Costs): How Trump Haters Are Breaking America by Kimberley Strassel: Conversation Starters

Resistance (At All Costs): How Trump Haters Are Breaking America is a novel that tells us how the public, precisely President Donald Trump's critics and opponents or haters, as Strassel wants to call them, is inflicting more long-term damage to America than the President himself. This novel mentions the investigations made by the FBI during the presidential campaign of Trump, the negative media portrayal on the President and the government, the opposition to the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh as an associate justice of the supreme court, termination of several executive orders given by the President, and others. The author argues that most Trump haters are doing so much damage just to sabotage the President and his decrees that they are disregarding norms, due process, and the rule of law. Wall-Street Journalist Kimberley Strassel, also the author of the New York Times bestseller The Intimidation Game: How the Left is Silencing Free Speech, released the novel 3 years after her debut solo novel. The novel currently has a high average rating of 4 over 5 on Goodreads and Amazon with over 400+ reviews. Like Strassel's previous book, her new book Resistance (At All Costs): How Trump Haters Are Breaking America became an instant New York Times bestseller.

    Introducing Resistance (At All Costs)

Resistance (At All Costs): How Trump Haters are Breaking America is a political book that discusses the long-term implications and damages the haters are doing to America and how their actions are more problematic than the President's actions. Strassel specifically used the word hater, and not critic, and explains that these haters are the people who decided that Donald Trump is not worthy of being President even before he won and got elected. Because of this mindset, the actions made by the haters of Trump think it's justifiable even if their actions are damaging.  It also discusses how the opposition is doing a lot of things just to make the President and the administration look bad, like conducting illegal investigations, not following the executive orders given, and highlighting the negative occurrences rather than the positive ones of the media. Strassel wrote how Trump has been subject to numerous nationwide conjunctions on the policies he made than all of the 6 presidents before him combined. It's like the supreme court is deliberately opposing Trump's policies. Strassel stresses how the hater nitpicks on everything the President is doing, like his tweets, his attitude in the office. Still, in fact, he is breaking the norms. Even though he does some unusual things for a president, they continuously undermine his and the administration's efforts because of his
