ACE’S PALS SCORE BIG

As outrage grows over allegedly corrupt personal protective equipment (PPE) tenders, City Press can reveal that, in the Free State, they were not only handed to ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule’s sons, but also to a number of people who are his close allies in the province.

Whistle-blowers have told City Press that a number of people associated with Magashule continue to benefit from contracts awarded by the current administration, mainly staffed by the former Free State premier’s associates.

Companies that benefited include those that are not registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), shisa nyamas and establishments allegedly run by convicted fraudsters.

City Press has seen a tender bulletin from last month that lists the controversial companies
