About this ebook
Using philosophical thought and imagination through innuendos, these poems push the reader into a world of their own, to create their own take of the modern soul and life lived.
JM Mills
The author was born in Western Australia and raised in the small coal-mining town of Collie. She has managed to attain three degrees, a dog, and a house. Writing her first novel and undertaking her first screenplay and loving life by writing poetry. She is in a happy place. Initially, she was a school teacher and then a chartered accountant. She was influenced by a humble, down-to-earth human who has an amazing talent for acting in and around LA. This person helped her remember who she is and what her passions are. Also surrounding him are amazing down-to-earth people (actors and other non-acting beautiful people) who have helped her to discover what she is capable of; always believing in her. Her road has taken her far from where she had been and loved, back to being in love with storytelling, music and poetry. All her very first loves are: theatre acting, singing/ songwriting, poetry, writing and reading. She acted in theatre at a young age through which she was fortunately able to travel overseas. She learnt to play the piano for seven years. She has been a high school teacher, learned karate, sang in a band (writing songs and performing on stage), then received her masters in professional accounting and got her chartered accounting ticket. "A lot for one so young but onward and upwards," she says, "Following my dreams and trying to keep it real."
