Persuading some of the residents of Mthwalume, KwaZulu-Natal, that there is no longer a serial murderer on the loose is going to be a hard task for police and politicians, as women in the area seem unable to come to terms with the revelation that a seemingly mild-mannered resident was a brutal killer who snuffed out the lives of five people, all of whom were women.
