MOVES TO KEEP YOU YOUNG

STOMACH-PUMPING BREATH

This is a rejuvenating breathing technique that refreshes your body and mind. It’s perfect to do first thing in the morning to energise you for the day.

1 Begin in a comfortable, seated position and take a deep breath, allowing your stomach to expand.

2 Exhale forcefully through your nose in rapid succession 10 times, snapping your stomach in at a rate of one exhalation per second. The force of the exhale should create enough suction for the inhale to be automatic.

3 On the tenth exhale, inhale and exhale deeply, returning to your normal breathing rhythm for 10-15 seconds, then repeat steps 1 and 2.
