America
Our World
We live in a world created just for us.
A world full of challenges, with all the necessities we need to survive.
Sometimes, we don’t see eye to eye.
Friends come in all colors on different levels.
And some give us wrong guidance.
Though their friendship to you be true, their steps are steps of doom. Their paths lead to nowhere.
We all have God given gifts. But how are they being used?
Do our wrongs outweigh what’s right?
Man has reached height almost beyond comprehension…heights not even mentioned.
I believe we are taking advantage.
One drug good, one drug bad…
Alcohol has taken more lives than most or any drug.
But you can purchase it at the liquor store, if you meet the requirements, 21 or over.
But you will be persecuted if your caught drinking in the streets.
The slogan today, get high but drink responsibly
.
If you observe the do’s and don’ts concerning alcohol;
Really do your math, it adds up to $$$.
Alcohol brings in revenue. To precious a revenue to ban.
Lost
We’re all going to die, and that’s no lie.
We can count on it, though we don’t want it.
But we choose to take the road, though we’ve been told
It leads to a land where souls lie bare.
Forbidden territory, we know the story.
But we choose to use though we heard the news.
We put our lives at stake, even end up on a slate.
What goes through our minds, why do we cross the line.
The drugs we choose, like fools we use
Feeling fine, don’t lose your mind.
Drugs
The power of drugs has destroyed many good men and women.
Man was and still remains a victim of his own weakness.
Dope the body cannot do without; you need drugs to detox off the drug.
Not unless you’re strong enough to cold turkey.
You know do it yourself. Alcohol puts us in another world.
Some of us drink to drown our problems.
Some drink for courage, to do things they wouldn’t dare do in a sober state of mind.
Drinking and driving has taken many lives.
And drinking
