Foreword
Marimuthu, a blind man, was born 14th November 1996 and was raised in Devanur Pudur, Thirupur, India.
As a twenty year old student, he has gained a B.A. in English Literature, and is currently studying towards a B.Ed. in Chennai.
Marimuthu has interests in many things, the world around him near and far. He likes to see new things, new places and new faces. He likes to read and write, has a flair and love of poetry.
As a friend of Marimuthu I have been privileged to have read these poems and have been enthralled by his talent for capturing what I found to be imaginative, sensitive and heartfelt poetry. Each poem tells a story in Marimuthu's own unique, distinctive style.
This is the first collection of poems that Marimuthu has put together for publication, and I would like to wish him all the very best.

Dedications
Hi, readers! Please bear with my long list of dedications. It is long because many people have played or are playing an important role in my poetic life.
This volume is my first triumph, so I dedicate this book to my Papa and Mama, who always make me feel like a winner. And also to my sister, Pavithra, who shares my parents, and who is my greatest friend forever.
I, with this little volume, honor Mr. Muthukumara Velan, for his encouragement.
I thank Mrs. Suja Mathew for uncovering myself to me, and for her fair guidance.
"Now I only learned myself,
And started to walk straight with pride;
I thank you, I thank you for your help,
And blessed to have you as my guide!"
I dedicate this book to Alan, my American friend, who helped me to publish this book. Al, this is my first book of poetry. I respect and adore your open comments on my poems. You are the first person to openly speak about my faults. I'm glad that you found me on the FFP Poetry Forums. I thank you and dedicate this little book of poetry.
I submit this book to my friend Beryl, who kindly wrote the Foreword for this book.
I also dedicate this volume to the teachers of literature, who never scolded nor discouraged me.
I humbly inscribe this book to my great teachers, Mr. Jayaraman and Mr. Manikandan, the first drops of ink of my writing pen.
I honor my skin-like kin, Ponraj and Rangaraj, with this little volume for their 15 years of pure friendship.
"Like wheels, you bear this car,
No matter how rough the roads are;
You soothe me always when I'm sad,
And make me gay and very glad!"
Next my thanks go to Mr. Lakshman, my friendly teacher, who always stays by my side. The greatest gift you are giving to me, Sir, is your unscriptable friendship of purity. I, with this little volume, honor your friendship.
I dedicate this book to Miss Gayathri, in honor of her encouraging soul. This gift is too small to honor you. Yet I, with an open heart, submit this book to you.
I submit this book to my ever-caring Mohammed and Shankar, for their family-like affection.
I warmly thank and submit this book to my classmates, especially Surya, Vasu, and Suresh, for their motivation.
I dedicate this book to Hannah Huffmaster of USA and Jonathan Young of Australia for their nice friendship. I found you both on the FFP Poetry Forums, and I'm glad to have you as my friends. I dedicate this small volume of my poetry to you as a big gift for your always motivating friendship.
My thanks go next to Sivashakthi and Priyanka, whose caring hearts and encouraging words are playing a role in my life. This volume of poetry is a very small gift for your great part. I really thank you, and give this to you.
A special mention goes to my friends Selvakumar, Elavarasan, and Ranjith for their help.
I also inscribe this volume to my sister-like friend, Mrs. Jaichitra, in honor of her friendship.
There are so many people to thank and inscribe in this book. But I choose to let the readers go on and read my poems.
For others, my heart will always thank them and will beat with them in honor of their contributions to my life.
Thank you,
M. M.
Introductory Poems
A Sonnet
To every bush, and to every tree,
For their breezy charm and purity;
To every wonderful, flowing brook,
For its wisdom more than a fat book;
To every bee,
