    Prologue

So how’s it coming along down there?

Could be slower I suppose. Why do you ask, Tom?

Well we're on the clock, Andy. And the faster it gets done the better it is for us. The man named Tom replied gruffly. I know that a lot of us have had enough of Bridgewater, but we can't hit back properly without this being finished, and the young folks are getting eager.

Aye. Andy grunted.  But we’ve got to be careful moving forward. Don't want to end up like the first bunch to try this.

True, true. Said Tom thoughtfully as he reclined in his chair and gazed warily around the pub.

The two men had chosen an unfrequented pub in the southern half of the Core to hold their meeting. It was practically empty with only the staff present to accompany them. Unlike the bars and pubs in the Fringe, the staff were warm and welcoming and were content to let the men carry about their business uninterrupted.

And before I forget Tom whispered. We're getting a fresh shipment of Drillers tomorrow. He looked over his back towards the bar – checking to make sure the staff were still busy. Boss still wants us to off the old ones though. He finished with a shudder.

Will be nice to have a fresh set... But yeah, maybe I can find a work around for that last bit. Not too fond of getting rid of them since they can still help around. Andy said in the same hushed tone as his companion.
