Putting my heart into art
After successfully launching ‘Rigby Art’ in July 2019, John Rigby & Co. has big plans to expand its offering of exclusive sculptures, drawings, lithographic prints, carvings and much more by opening a new gallery at its Pensbury Place workshop in 2020.
The London gunmaker’s pioneering project is being headed by its talented in-house engraver Geoffrey Lignon. An artist for as long as he can remember, the passionate and gifted 29-year-old Frenchman is understandably proud of what has been achieved so far, and is excited about what lies ahead. Here, he explains how the ‘Rigby Art’ idea came to fruition, what is involved and what is still to come.
