Class of 2020 produce ‘stellar results’

THE 2020 national matric pass rate has dropped by more than 5.1% compared to the previous year.

However, on Monday, Angie Motshekga, the Minister of Basic Education, said she was pleased with the national pass rate of 76.2%.

She said she expected worse due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
