Summarized Commentary Ch. 111 (Revealed at Makkah) Vs 15 Abu Lahab was a bitter enemy of the prophet (PBH) inspite of being his uncle. When the prophet (PBH) had called his near relatives to invite them to Islam, Abu Lahab is reported to have cried out, May you perish, have you called us for this. Abu Lahabs wife used to place thorns and sharp sticks in the path of prophet (PBH). This Sura is a curse against this couple. Ch. 112 (Revealed at Makkah) Vs 14 This Sura deals with the Unity, Uniqueness, Purity and Supreme Authority of Allah (SWT). His being a father or son of anyone is ruled out. Allah (SWT) is the Creator, rest is creation and nothing in the creation is equal to the Creator.
