    Dear Parents, Welcome to Year 6 and to the final year of the PYP! My name is Kyla Kopperud. I am the EAL teacher for Year 6 as well as the Coordinator for the Elementary EAL programme. Over the course of my teaching career I have lived and/or worked in Canada, Germany, India, Vietnam, Nepal and Switzerland. Ive taught EAL/ESL and Learning Support, ranging from Early Years through to the IB Diploma. In addition to teaching, I have been involved in international development work training teachers and setting up educational programmes mainly in the field of language learning pedagogy.
