INTRODUCTION
Human rights are universal, indivisible and interdependent. Human rights are what make us humans. The highest aspiration of the common man is to lead a life where he can enjoy freedom and have no fear of suppression. The approach of studying human rights provides useful insights. Studying these certain issues will open an opportunity for peoples minds to become open and aware of the apparent condition all over the world but most especially on the locale where they are situated. When we speak of child, we meant of a minor, an individual who is not yet an adult or who has not reached the age of majority. Every child has the right as human beings and needs special care and protection. Unfortunately, due to poverty, some werent able to enjoy and benefit from these rights. Thus, it makes these rights being violated. Children, who begin working at a younger age, achieve a lower level of education, which impacts the childs future and welfare. Child labor is not an easy issue to resolve. It continues to be seen may be due to inefficiency of the policies promulgated by the government to fight poverty and promote education for all. This paper focuses on making the people know their responsibility. For as long as nobody concerns for these children, they will remain in this world and it will always keep them from being kids. This will also catch the attention of government leaders and other sectors to find better ways to manage, or better yet eradicate child labor.

Reflection

To Where They Belong

We need to value the worth of every person as well as to protect the persons life, property, and reputation. We are all human beings who long for equality in the society where we belong. We long to have our individual rights and to respect one another. In this mad-dash and non-stop way of life we have today, we cannot deny the fact that sometimes, we experience too much chaos, unequal practices of the rights, and inhumane behavior of people. However, it is still good to know that we still have what we called, Good Samaritans people who are willing to share what they have into the life of others especially to the oppressed and least fortunate. Last December 12, 2010, we were able to join and participate in the project instituted by the Philippine National Police which is a Solidarity Run for Human Rights. In the said event, proceeds were gathered from astounding number of participants that will basically go to charity. I was lucky because I wasnt only able to witness it, but I had shared a little something for the right practice of human rights. This kind of activities brings to us the values of unity and preference for the least favored. Speaking of human rights, everyone is protected by it. Nevertheless, there are certain people who were not that privileged to experience those. One of the several examples is child labor. These children most likely werent that fortunate to receive the rights that belong to them. It is clearly observed in the whole world, just even in our

locale, that laws for those children, at their young age, who work for their families, were not properly implemented. Every child has the right to basic necessities in life like a healthy environment, formal education, and a loving family to come home to. For me, a very evident factor to push these children into labor is what we experience as poverty. It is really one of the rampant problems that we should face and be aware of. But candidly, awareness isnt enough. Actions must still be put into practice. This is what God wants us to do. Love our fellowmen and share what we have to please others especially the least favored. Because of this what so-called child labor, the childrens lives are at risk. Its dangerous for their health mainly if their work concerns the streets where smoke and dust are everywhere, as well as that they encounter many people all are strangers to them which may be threats for them for they do not know what lies behind and what are the intentions of these people. How I hope and pray there would be a life-changing event that will erase such scenario in the world the Philippines most probably since its the locale to which they belong. I want change wherein they will find a family wholl love and support them, and provide them education and their needs A change where Good Samaritans can be brought into being.

SUMMARY
Human rights are universal, indivisible and interdependent. Human rights are what make us humans. The highest aspiration of the common man is to lead a life where he can enjoy freedom and have no fear of suppression. Child labor, in its general sense, is the participation of children in a wide variety of work situations, on a more or less regular basis, to earn a livelihood for themselves or for others. There are government and non-governmental sectors that are willing to help and give opportunity for these least fortunate children to experience and enjoy the rights intended and are meant for them. We are also responsible to be aware and do something even just in our little ways to help solve this issue and make the world starting in our locale, free of child labor.
