MEDICINE BOX FOR ELDERLY DAILY USAGE

To help the elderly now days, I created a medicine box called Multi-purpose Medicine Box. This is because many elderly citizen had sickness such as heart attack, lung cancer, diabetes, and so on. They also have to take medicine to get their health recover back as usual. This project is based on the medicine box that be given to the elderly from the hospital. I treat the medicine box so that the medicine box can make the elderly remember the time that they have to eat the medicine. This project represents the medicine box that I treat to have an alarm, storage system, controllable by cell phone and youth repellent system. I created this project by using microcontroller Arduino Uno kit, NXT 2.0 Robo kit. The programming that I use is Arduino Alpha 1.01, NXT 2.0 Programming, Fritzing, and Lego Brainstorming. For the youth repellent system, I use speaker that produce 16 kHz wave. It is designed to be easier for elderly to take medicine because they can make the Multipurpose Medicine Box move to them. It is easier because the elderly just extend their hand to the sensor and the medicine will came out. The elderly childrens does not to worry about their parent medicine consuming because this project will make the elderly take the medicine quick, on timing, and easy. The elderly can life lively because the children will not disturb the elderly, thanks to the youth repellent. Some elderly may feel that it is annoying to have children playing around so the Multi-purpose Medicine Box will produce annoying sound that only youth can hear.
