Learning Objectives (WALT): To identify how technology might impact on transport in the future To be able to independently research possible technological developments related to transport in the future To create a very brief set of notes detailing the findings of their research Intended Learning Outcomes (WILF): All must be able to: be able to identify at least one technological change which might change the way that we travel Most should be able to: be able to identify a variety of technological changes which might affect the future of transport Some could: be able to explain the possible impacts that future changes in transport might have upon the way that we travel for leisure and work Keywords: transport, travel, car, motorcycle Reference to cross-curriculum issues (Literacy, Numeracy, Citizenship, PSHE, ECM..): Entry ( 2.5 mins) Starter (5 mins): In around 10 years time, I expect to see the following in a smart home.. Main ( 45 mins) Teachers Instruction - Discussion (10 mins): You have been looking at how technology in our homes might change in the next 10-15 years. Technology will have a huge impact on many other areas of our lives, not just our homes. One area will be transport.
