WE ARE TRYING SOMETHING NEW As we approach the 21st Annual Yahrzeit Memoral Lecture we are trying something new.

Instead of just one lecture we will have a whole Shabbat devoted to themes of loss and memory. What an amazing way to remember loved ones and inspire us before the onset of the Yamim Noraim Season.
Rabbi Mark Dratch is the incoming Executive Vice President of the Rabbinical Council of America which represents over 1000 rabbis including our own Rabbi Weinberg. In 2010 Rabbi Dratch was named as one f Newsweek's Top 50 Rabbis in America. Rabbi Mark Dratch is Founder and CEO of JSafe: The Jewish Institute Supporting an Abuse Free Environment, an organization addressing issues of domestic violence, child abuse and institutional and professional improprieties in the Jewish community. He is also an Instructor of Jewish Studies and Philosophy at the Isaac Breuer College of Yeshiva University and Camp Rabbi at Camp Morasha. As many of you know, Rabbi Dratch served as a pulpit rabbi for 22 years at Congregation Agudath Sholom, Stamford, CT as well as other congregations. Rabbi Dratch is a graduate of Yeshiva University (1979), its Ferkauf Graduate School (Jewish Education) and Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (semicha) (1982). He is married to Sara Lamm Dratch and is the proud father of four children, a daughter and teenage triplets.
