Introduction
This report intends to articulate how International Students have had an impact on the economy of Australia. The report will outline certain conducts to clearly explain the influences foreign students have had on the economy. International students play a significant role in the growth of the Australian economy. It is a major export industry and an abundant source of foreign revenue, as foreign students cover over a quarter of the total enrolments in all Australian universities. Moreover, international students promote tourism. When friends and families of international students visit them, they bring in one of the many indirect benefits of international education to the Australian Economy. Nevertheless, business is not all that international students bring to the table. The relationships formed over international education support Australia's engagement with the world, and help withstand trade, investment and goodwill. This report will explore how international students have benefitted the Australian economy.
