The monthly meeting of the Karachi Business club was held at 9.00 AM, Tuesday, January 22, 2004, in the Skylight room of the Avari Hotel Lahore. M. Rashid Ahmad, President, Chaired the meting. Members present were: Mr. Aftab Aziz, Mr. Azhar Bashir, Mr. Khalaq Butt. Mr. Shafiq Gondal, Mr. Anwer Hadi, Mr. Perverz Wasim, Ch. Yousaf, and Mr. David cashier.

Recitation: Minutes:

The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran Minutes of the December 15, meeting were read and approved.

Officers Report: Mr. Azhar Bashir, the chairman of the nominating committee reported that the committee has met twice and will present the list of nominees for the next year at the February meeting. OLD MATTER: The matter of annual fee increase which was discussed at the December meeting brought up for discussion. Mr. Ashfaq Butt moved that the Annual fee be increase to Rs. 1,500 beginning September 1. The motion, the motion seconded by Ch. Rafique, was approved. NEW BUSINESS: Mr. Aftab Aziz suggested that the monthly newsletter be published. After much discussion the president appointed the following members to serve as Newsletter Committee to determine the feasibility of this project.
