2011-2012 Sixth Grade Math Syllabus Mrs.

Crunk
kcrunk@mtacademy.us My name is Mrs. Crunk and I have the exciting privilege of teaching your child one of my favorite subjects MATH. This will be my first year at Michigan Technical Academy. However, I have been teaching since 2008 after earning my Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Michigan - Dearborn. I am certified and highly qualified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade in a self-contained classroom along with middle school math and science, which is my other favorite subject.

Course Description
The goal of Sixth Grade Math is for students to increase their mathematic knowledge, reasoning and understanding. Students will develop problemsolving skills as they apply knowledge in new situations and make connections between what they learn in class to the world around them.
