CCTV Means Closed-Circuit Television Camera

HISTORY
Installed by Siemens in Germany in 1942. For observing the launch of V-2 rockets. Designed by a German Engineer Walter Bruch. First commercial CCTV system was Vericon. It was available in market in 1949. Became very common in banks and stores to discourage theft in mid 1990
